Dear MCB Ten Family,

Best & Safe wishes for Fall 2023!! 

Our October 2022 Reunion in Pigeon Forge created a new model.  This Reunion was in conjunction with the NSVA Department of Tennessee East Coast All-Seabee Reunion. It was heavily attended by veterans of MCB 8, 121 plus our MCB 1-9-10 family. We switched to a weekday rather than week-end reunion because of the tourist economics of the area.

This reunion took advantage of huge savings in hotel rates on weekdays.  October, particularly the 2nd half, is peak season in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area for fall foliage colors and weather. The area is jammed with tourists on weekends. Weekend hotel rates were 75% higher than we paid by choosing a weekday reunion.

Come back again in 2023 to the beautiful Smoky Mountains in peak season at a bargain cost.  Enjoy the scenic beauty, the many entertainment venues and the comradeship of fellow Seabees.  You will again be staying at the beautiful Grand Smokies Resort Lodge in “downtown” Pigeon Forge.

We have had great success using our Facebook page: MCB Ten Reunion Association (@nmcbten).  I encourage you to Like or Follow our Page. It is our most timely & responsive communication.  We post to this page about every three weeks. We also send broadcast e-mails to our roster list but we expect to faze this out in favor of Facebook.  Our broad-cast emails are far less effective compared to Facebook..

We still have a few collectors-quality MCB Ten Challenge Coin & Pin sets available.  The set (coin and pin) is only $20.  We also have new MCB Ten hats available. We have posted pictures and “how to order” on Facebook.
